Story of My Life

Davis and Tina got together one day
nine months later I'm here to stay
my name is Jordan Smyth don't confuse it with will
cause if you do, I might have to get real
I got a story for you I'm gonna say it in rhyme
I'll tell it to you if you got the time

now where was I? Oh yes it happened one day
January 21,1991
came to this earth ready to have some fun
Little Jordan Smyth was cute as can be
had a great mom but no dad, whats with his story?
well my dad was cool was a lot of fun
but since the cops were after him he kept having to run
seven years later as I walk home from school
I get stopped by my mom who was looking uncool
that night as I stay with my Nana in fear
I realize that my mom may not make it to new years
Christmas day as I get out of my bed
i see my Brother crying saying god why is she dead?
Empty in my heart as I fall to the floor
yelling to the gods "HOW COME SHE AIN'T HERE NO MORE?"
Now you think that I went through enough
but somewhere up there thinks I can be tough
to handle my dad passing while serving his time
i guess god wanted him now in his prime
with my palms to the lord "GOD CAN"T YOU SEE?"
"WHY DOES THIS BULL ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME?"
Right now i figure I should just give up
and set sail for the tragedy thats going to erupt
Just me and my Nana not livin in fear
we're so happy we're grinning ear to ear
I'm 14years now but going on twenty
cause all the responsibility is just to many
But I will survive
to 105
Thank god us two are still alive
Now my story concludes hope you don't have no strife
