Street Lights Dim With the Song of Grim

by Liz   Dec 28, 2005

Her body aches as she lays beaten black and blue,
Bet her naieve boyfriend never knew,
Crank had taken over her life,
A dirty needle and a rusted knife,
One deal gone wrong and she's stabbed in the back,
The lit street becomes pitch black,
She cries for him,
But he won't come...
Street lights dim with the song of grim...

He lays panting, moaning for her,
Lost in all his pleasure,
He never thought she'd find him then,
Never thought she'd see the other women,
He never heard her call for him,
Now the street lights dim with the song of grim...

She lays alone stained with blood,
Drowning in a crimson flood,
She's lost her voice she can't even cry,
She couldn't stand even if she wanted to try,
She lays there paying for her harmful sin,
The street lights finally dimmed with the song of grim....
