Losing You

Losing You

As I walk by I
see you with her.
I smile at you
as if it didn't matter.
As if I didn't hurt inside.

I walk away knowing
You won't ever run after me.
You won't care enough if
you lost me.

It's funny how I almost
had you.
I thought, "No, I'll get to know
you more."
Then I realized I was in love with you.

You found her.
I realized I was losing you.
I tried to tell you that I liked you.
You didn't care as long as
you had her.

You don't know what it's
like to lose somebody
that you love.

I miss our talks.
The way you used to
open up to me.
Will you ever talk to me
again the way you used too?

I begin to lose you.
I miss you everday
of my life.
This is what it's like.
I think I lost you.
