Blue Eyes And Golden Curls

by Silouette Dreams   Dec 28, 2005

(~A poem about my close friend-~)

Blue eyes and Golden Curls
Taken back to a time when everything was perfect
Where I used to play in the freshly cut grass for hours
When my only sadness was when I didn't get the last cookie
But then I come back to my room, hollow in the darkness
What happened to the girl with the curly hair and blue eyes
What happened to the laughs, well they've turned in to tears
How did this happen, this shouldn't of happened!
I would of never, ever thought this could happen
But, it did and there's no going back
You can't change the past, I know, but how can you heal
Changing the future, what the Hell does that mean
Getting so used to the pain, I thought it was gone
And even I didn't know it was there all along
And, it was there all along, but I didn't even know
Because it crept up on me
So slowly, just like a disease, taking over me
And then when they saw it, they tried to fix it
In front of me, the were strong
But I wasn't clueless, I saw through their masks
Trust me I hid hid behind one 24/7
I have a disease and they want me to spread it
To me that makes no sense,
I will not spread this infectious disease
So what happened to the girl with the blue eyes and golden curls
She caught a disease that took over her world
