Autumn

by leo   Dec 29, 2005

Through the leaves lying on the ground;
Rolling about; tossing around

Smooth, gentle and breezy
Just the way I like it - easy!

The crisp evening air, away from the hum drum
This is how I remember Autumn

The colorful surroundings make for beautiful walks
With a loved one beside you, the most amazing talks

Gazing out at the horizon
In complete awe? - not surprising!!

Sunrise and sunset, almost alike
For a few brief moments they both seem like

Heaven on earth or as close to it
Be a honey, share in it

For who knows from this day to the next
If any of us will be a guest

Here on earth or the next best
Not too long now 'tis almost all gone

Yes, yet another Autumn season!
