Life is worthwhile*

I fell in love with the unexpected

It didn't matter one bit what anyone had to say

this is one i was never letting go

"together forever" we would pray

this was a time in our lives we needed each other

the day came when i had to watch our memories pass on by

you walked away, didn't even have one word left to say

all i gave-up for you and in return i was only living a lie

not only did i lose me heart, my soul, my everything

but my best friend as well

you were the one i told everything to

one by one you would wipe away my tears

not a day in my life was i ever alone

you chased away all my fears

after nights of crying i finally accepted we were through

in my heart i said good-bye

I wouldn't change my life, I love the way it is today

I forgot my past, moved on to a brighter day

I have my friends who will forever be my light

no matter what i got my girls to my left

and my boys to my right

I couldn't ask for much more

I can't wait to see what life has planned for me

cause when life falls apart I know i'll be alright

no matter what it might be
