Little pink house

by Lenny   Dec 30, 2005

Little pink house, upon your hill,
With your wide open door,
The unopened envelopes of your invitation,
Are scattered on my floor,
Oh little house, with your smiles,
You are my Everest,
And though two steps it would but take,
Those steps Ill never test,
Poor little house, with your slate so clean,
Your paint so unjustly scarred,
My footstep through your entrance,
For my mind is just too hard,
Oh little house, beneath your trees,
You have done no wrong,
And Im sorry my little house,
But this just cant go on,
Little pink house, upon your hill,
Your wooden floors shall not be tread,
Oh little house Im sorry,
But it is your floors I dread,
Little house, with your glossy paint,
May you tower forever high,
And little house I must implore,
Your roofs reach for the sky,
Little house, with your friendly glow,
There will always be another,
And little house please remember,
I have loved you like no other...
