Disappear

by Cassie Mclellan   Dec 30, 2005

I seem like a carefree girl
I seem like I have everything going right in my life
But this girl hides a sad secret
A secret of sorrow
A secret of fear
A secret of wanting it all to disappear

You see me smile like everything is just fine
But don’t you see my smile is just a sign
A sing of sorrow
A sign of fear
A sign of wanting it all to disappear

I say that imI'mappy, but it’s just a lie
Cause I think about suicide all the time
How do I stop myself from feeling all this pain?
How can I end my endless cry?
I know how
By letting go and making myself die

  • Okay, first, your poem starts out really strong, and the repitition is really effective, second, thoughts are harmless until they evolve into actions. dont let you suicide thoughts lead to actions, please, the world cant handle the loss of another great poet.

    be strong
