Once upon a time,
there lived a very sad girl.
Then she happened to meet this amazing guy,
causing her heart to whirl.
This guy was so different,
he cared so much.
He was so incredibly perfect,
She tingled to his touch.
She'd never been so happy,
they had such a great time together.
This girl thought that this time,
it would definitely last forever.
But to her dispair,
things changed so fast.
It seems this guy's feelings,
were not going to last.
This girl made some small mistakes,
ones she regrets everyday.
She thinks that maybe if she hadn't,
He wouldn't have stopped caring in every single way.
Now the girl is left so empty,
feeling so very hurt and sad.
She wants his feelings for her back,
and she wants them really bad.
You see it's no fun to care so much,
for one who doesn't love you back.
She wants to leave so badly,
but it's the courage that she lacks.
She's so afraid that if she goes,
he'll forget about her and what they once shared.
It's so hard for her,
because she knew that for a while he really did care.
She knows he still has something there,
she knew it the day he cried.
But when he didn't tell her,
is when her heart stopped and she felt as though she'd almost died.
Is it that he really has decided,
that they are truly done?
Or will she someday celebrate,
because she has finally won?
