The Little Girl Inside Me

by AnotherJournalEntry   Dec 30, 2005

There was this girl,
So vibrant
So joyous
So innocent
So free.
Things started changing fast,
Rapidly, they went.
Gone were those happy times.
Oh, how I hate her.

The little girl
Haunting my dreams -
She seems so real,
So true, so proud.
They way she stands
The ways she walks.
She's only a young girls
Without a care
in the world.

Oh, yes.
That girl was me.
How much I've changed
How much I've grown.
Changes good,
Changes bad.
Life has taken
A lot out of me
And I'm not gonna make it.

\\AN// Yeah, yeah. You know the drill. Review. I review you back.
