Crimson Tears

by Illusion   Dec 30, 2005

Watch the steady blood drops
beautiful and serene
dripping from my body
beauty so it seems

Slowly hitting pavement
staining- it leaves it's mark
bright red in mid-air
though soon it shall turn dark

Tainted with a poison
that kills all who seek it
deceiving and thin
full of untold secrets

The pool of liquid ripples
as more drops disturb the crimson surface
all goes back to an eerie stillness
as if ignoring the disturbance

Watch the blood dripping
so beautiful and serene
dripping from my heart
beauty- or so it seems
