Unseen Love

Unseen Love

Love never existed
No where to be found
Searched high and low
For what I thought love was to be

Unworthy to have true love
Doubted that love would find me
Gave up on the thought
Began to settle for anything

Emptiness stirred inside
More than ever before
Loneliness began to take hold
Life seemed bleak and alone

One morning everything snapped
Heartache began to take place
My world stopped all together
When I found out about her

Searching for a love
That was never to be found
Then I realized
It was here all along

The depression and emptiness
Seemed to disappear when you were around
The loneliness crept in
Every time you left my house

How can I tell you
That I loved you all along
I was blinded sometime in life
My thoughts of love were all wrong

How can I tell you
Now that you have her
My heart aches constantly
For you and no one else
