Waiting For Love

He smiles at me gently,
his smile so soft and sweet,
I look carefully into his eyes,
and get lost in the wonders beneath

His hand brushes against my cheek,
and sends shivers down my spine,
he slowly tucks my hair behind my ear,
with a touch that is caring and kind

I gently lay my head against his chest,
and feel his arms lock around me,
his love for me is definitely strong,
this is one thing I can surely see

My eyes are beginning to close,
and my eyelashes brush against my cheek
I know that with him I am protected,
and with him I don't have to feel weak

Hes always been there to dry my tears,
and bring me back when I couldn't go on,
he listens to me when I just need to talk,
we have formed an unbreakable bond

He kisses me in the rain,
with the moon shining softly in the night,
his hugs make me feel something special,
they always seem to be just right

He always holds my hand so tight,
as if to never let go,
whenever we are together,
it feels like everything is just so

Nobody else even exists,
he is the only one in my world,
he always tells me he will never find,
another perfect girl

Everything about him is amazing,
there is not one thing I would take away,
my love for him only grows stronger,
with every passing day

This guy is the perfect thing for me,
his place nobody can fill,
I just haven't met him yet,
