Flying High

I am a bird learning to fly
I run as fast as i can to reach for the sky
i flap my wings with all my might
and a tree comes into sight
i cant stop now
im going too fast
i dont know how im going to last
i hit the tree and fall down flat
i hear someone saying \"pity that\"
i sit up slowly and shake my head
and thank the lord that im not dead
im determined to fly
so i try and try
this time im lucky
i lift myself into the sky
and finally im flying high!
