Daydreaming

by .:*Nicole*:.   Jan 1, 2006

Vines creep along the flat windowsill
And spread to other parts of the classroom
Weaving in and out of lamp posts
Exotic flowers of bold, bright colors
Burst into bloom among the desks
And the room becomes fragrant
With citrus fruit

Songbirds and Hummingbirds flit around me head
And throughout the classroom
Singing their wondrous tune

But it all disappears
As softly as it came
What had happened?
My teacher asked me a question
