I gave you up,
but i cant let you go.
I still love you,
just thought id let you know.
You're the thought that starts each morning,
and the conclusion to each day.
When i told you to leave,
you shouldve stayed.
But I'm doomed forever,
'just friends' we will stay.
I gave you up,
and now I have to pay.
