Dad's grave

by dwight   Jan 2, 2006

Standing in front of your grave
crying out your memories
knowing I should run
unable to leave you behind

I hope I made you proud
I worship your footsteps
your shoe size doesn't fit
but I'll go the same path

Did you see your life passing by?
when you died?
Did you see me in the movie?
Was I a good actor?

So many questions, but no answers
my tears spell them out
magic drowned by sadness
oh, dad, your grave is so beautiful
