Can't pretend

My heart is breaking
before my eyes
I've suffered aching,
cold words, and lies

I can no longer pretend
or hold in my pain
I miss my friend
and I'm going insane

without him my world
is way too crazy
I'm getting bored
and becoming lazy

from pain and guilt
