Say Goodbye Or Don't Care At All.

by Not Bulletproof   Jan 3, 2006

Say goodbye.
I'm drinking my cyanide,
And I'm planning to die,
So say goodbye.

Kiss my lips before the poison does first.
I plan on taking this too far, or worse.
It's okay because I matter less now,
Death is getting my next questionable vow.

Say goodbye.
I'm drinking my cyanide,
And I'm planning to die,
So say goodbye.

Do you see the puncture in my heart?
Yeah, well I decided I'll fill it up.
I'm going to clog it with a bullet to start,
Followed by poison from Death's cup.

Say goodbye.
I'm drinking tonight to die.
Say goodbye.
This is your last chance.
Say goodbye.
Your last chance to care,
So say goodbye.
I'm chugging down my cyanide.
Say goodbye.
This is where I die,
So say goodbye.

I still love you.

Your an insanely good writer... i don't give that kind of compliment often because it really takes a good writer to get me thinking and really feel the poem. Excellent job. Love your work. Hang in there:)

I love the angle of this poem. It's such a typical topic, but you twist and make it your own, and make it so damn original that it's intimidating. I love your word choice too, it makes your work seem so much more mature than a lot of the other stuff that is out there. I hope everything is well with you and that you had a good Christmas and New Years.

    Take Care,
