Chapters-Reflection 9

by Elizabeth Ann   Jan 3, 2006

It’s a new day, haggled from my desire to win its beginning for myself. And I pay a smile to the sun without lagging, having started the day with the warmth of well-being. And hereafter we shall see, though my concern is nay for that.

I walk the road of my mind, seeing to all the obstructions thrice removed. So all that is in my path is fresh air and a vision of nature; a blue sky spoiled with clouds and a field of wild flowers, surrounded by hills enriched with blue grass. Yes, I could go on with this vision of peace contenting my mind by just talking about it.

When I’m pulled back into reality: work, the move, my goals, it remains supernatural…this glow I’ve kept from that other world. I am born of imagination, and whatever force has formed me didn’t forget its wondrous pride to gainsay a simple mind. And we the children of sight are blessed from dreams, where all is well with the world again.
