Time After Time

by Tessa   Jan 4, 2006

Time after time we walk down that same road.
The one with the dead end sign, called "Lonely Street."
So many times we say this time will be different,
And yet it's still the same.
Time after time we look at our future
And we can see it so clear.
You me, and our family.
The visions are beginning to fade,
As I can slowly feel you slipping away.
Time after time, we say we'll work
It all out, if we just talk it out.
I know that you love me, I can see it in your soul.
You just keep fighting it, why I don't know.
Time after time, I feel so sad and all alone,
even when your right beside me, I'm still all alone.
The tears they fall one by one.
The pain increases as the night goes on.
Because soon we will find, we were right back at that dead end sign.
Time after time we say our goodbyes and go our separate ways.
But this time, this time is truly, the last time.
