Alone I sit here with my thoughts of you

thinking about the old and the new

I thought I loved you but I think I was wrong

because there is no longer a need for me to be strong

you used to have my heart right in your hands

but obviously you had different plans

So now I'm moving on, meeting new people I see

Because there is no more you and me

So I'm closing this door and not looking back

Because love is what you lacked

I want us to be more than friends
