Close Your Eyes & Say Good-Bye

The untold future that lies ahead
all these thoughts that won’t let me go to bed
just knowing you failed before you even got a chance
you couldn't even take a glance
the future that everyone thought you had
it all turned out bad
to see the disappointment day by day
I mean what can you say
where do you go when all hope has disappeared
when your life becomes what you’ve always feared
when you feel all alone inside the world you hate
asking yourself “is this my fate”?
Not knowing what road to take
or what decisions to make
falling deeper and deeper into the hopelessness of sadness
where you begin to reminisce
thinking if I only did that different I’d be fine
but instead you cut an even deeper line
hoping one day it will be enough to stop the pain
and get rid of all the days filled with rain
to just get away and not look back
and not see all the things that are lacked
to not see how badly you failed in everything you tried
and to forget all that you lied
to just have one more chance at what you did wrong
find what it is that your heart longs
but it’s like your not meant to make it no matter how hard you try
and you began to see no point to cry
you give up all hope and close your eyes
as you say your silent good-byes
