Cursed life, Divine death

by brown eyes and a melancholy smile   Jan 4, 2006

Cursed life, Divine death...

Cursed life, where misery reigns,
Bound in guilt, all hope slain,
Pray for mercy, in any shape,
Preferably death, I wish to escape.

Divine death,
Make haste I pray,
Steal me from my loneliness,
Away from suffering, and distress,
Away from misery and deceiving happiness...

Deliver me to a place of blissful slumber,
Forever calm,
Rid of hate and devious charm,
Rid of repeating mistakes and scarred arms...

Cursed life, my misery controls,
To Death's arms I pledge my soul,
Enfolded within death's dark veil,
So ends my pain and so ends misery's trail.

Oooh, I like this. It's a bit easier to relate to than I'd like to admit. The word play in it is just brilliant. Also the imagery is so twisted and dark, awesome stuff! Take care~Holly
