I can't stand it,
Being away from you,
I'm pacing corners of my mind,
Just wondering what to do.

Sitting on the sofa,
Wishing you would call,
So that you could catch me,
Right when I fall.

Wish you would call,
Oh, how I miss you so,
But I know that you had left,
Right when I told you to go.

Now I'm crying hard,
I can barely breathe!
I need you here so badly,
So that this pain will ease.

I told you to go,
But I wanted you to stay,
The way I feel right now,
Is definitely not okay!

If you would call,
Baby, we could make it right!
Tonight's going to be,
Another restless night...

But...when I told you to go,
You went far, far away,
But, I wanted you here,
And I wanted you to stay.
