Secrets untold

by TwistedHarmony   Jan 6, 2006

She holds him tight
in fear of losing him
clasps his hand so close to hers

he walks her home and holds her tight
he walks on still feeling
the warmth she left behind

he clasps his fist trying to catch it
it escapes into the cold air
tears well up inside of him

he never told her how he truly feels
that he cherishes her so much
he ponders about losing her

She sits alone dreaming of him
feeling his touch and the happiness he brings
but she feels cold inside

he turns around ready to tell her how he feels
and she thinks he doesn't love her
she's filled with loneliness and grief

he runs to her house with tears inside
she takes some pills with fear inside
she thinks he hates her so she takes her own life

he walks upstairs to find her body
so cold and so limp
he cries so hard and screams out loud

the things he wanted to tell her
how he loved her so very much
he never got to say...he left the secrets untold...
