Waste of Time

We grin ear to ear, side by side
But while apart we feel despair
& for the longest time we didn't give up
Although something wasn't there

A few months back, we blew it off
Thinking time would help us grow
But it seems like day to day we slip
We're coming to an end & this we know

We both are happy to see a smile
Together we are complete
I tried to look past it for quite awhile
But it takes more for a heart to keep

I told you I wasn't satisfied
For once I spilled my heart to you
I've told you this a million times
see we don't have much to loose
