MANY DON'T SEE

by Licindy   Jan 8, 2006

THE LONELINESS THAT NEVER GOES AWAY,
THE STRESS THAT IS ALWAYS THERE,
WAITING ON THE DAY,
THAT I'LL FIND THE RIGHT PERSON WITH WHOM MY LIFE WILL SHARE.

THE PAIN CAUSE BY OTHERS,
AND ALL THE SHAME,
THE MAKE UP THAT WILL NOT COVER,
FOR WHAT I AM THE ONLY ONE TO BLAME.

THE WRONG THINGS THAT I HAVE DONE IN LIFE,
BUT NEVER SEEM TO REGRET,
MAYBE ONCE OR TWICE,
ALTHOUGH MY LIFE WAS A THREAT.

WHAT OTHERS DON'T SEE,
SH*T, OR PROBABLY JUST DON'T CARE,
MY FAMILY, WITH ME,
WITH ME, THEY WERE ALWAYS THERE.

THINGS PEOPLE SAID ABOUT ME,
STILL BRING ME DOWN,
IF YOU ARE LIKE THOSE PEOPLE,
YOU JUST NEED TO MOVE YOUR A** AROUND.

STUPID, TO YOU THIS MAYBE,
BUT THESE ARE SOME OF THE FEELINGS THAT MANY DON'T SEE.
I WROTE IT WHEN I WAS DOWN,
NOT TO GET CREDIT OR WIN A CROWN.
I WRITE THE TRUTH ABOUT WHAT I FEEL,
SO IF YOU LIKED MY POEM, HOLLA BACK, AND TELL ME WHAT YOU FEEL.
