More than friends

The reason I'm scared to date you is because we are close friends
How would our friendship suffer if things were to end
Because there's not one thing I care about more then us
I don't think I'm willing, to give it all up
It's just so hard to find a friend who's worth it all
Maybe it's just that I'm to scared to fall
I've been there once, but you were there
To make all the repairs
But this time is different you are the one who shouldn't care
We've really never gotton closer then just friends
Speeding things up could be the test
Is our friendship strong enough
I guess I'll never know
I just must have faith in you
And trust that you won't let go
And if for some reason you did
I hope nothing will change
Because I don't think I can live without you every step of the way
