Imagination (Rekindled)

by Michael   Jan 9, 2006

Every time
when eyes close
my grip
weakened,
soul fades,
reality is bequeath...
..I drown...
....I awake...
...I lay...
...In my world...

Door's now opened
revealing truth
friendship
sorrow
hope and despair.

A small town
full of life
humans deference
beyond normal.

Angels and demons
whisper incantations
for future's tide
to rise into present.

In the endless sky
people soar with pride
upon wings of mystery
while wind
casts upon their faces
or destroy in storms of tornados.

Under depth's
of the ocean
many swim to explore
in an exceeded prison
desperate to find what may lie
upon eyes like their's
to come.

Volcano's burst
enrages those
who are in need to fight
and wish to expand
their power
which has
brought them to ruin.

Icicle's glimmer
in domestic caves
for the rich and valor
harvesting on riches
untold to others.

Those on foot
witness the power of nature
entwining them
in mystery and awe
watching and protecting
there wonder of their time.

To the minds
that have exceeded
even to the greatest
energy moves through thunder
and lightning brings out life
in generations farther.

But in the core
darkness is trapped
only bringing pain
depressing
and loneliness
slowly breaking through
for war to kill all.

Yet light
shines from above
guarding the darkness
being immortal
even those
who plunged
off the limits.

Finally
I remember
the hands in all
keeps us from falling
like a god
the universe is always there
but never quiet
unraveled by myth and legends.

Glorious
Awe
Mystery
Love
Friendship
Hope
Despair
Sorrow
Fear
Anger
Comfort

All seems impossible
for such worlds
to be existing
however
imagination was made
to not exist
until reality opens the door.

Ahhh....I feel good! Every1 wonders what type of imagination I would have....and here it is! It actually goes farther....but this would be best if I kept it up to here!

If ur wondering why I said "rekindled," it was because my first poem ever was called Imagination, but was completly different from this. I was 9, but it got submitted....with some help T_T.

Oh and Blanco.....I made a new and better boy that would suit her better. They r much alike....

Now I will stop talking. :X
