You're out of my life

by *Senorita*   Jan 9, 2006

You were never there when I need you,
And didn't seem to care.
One call a yr! That's not enough for a daughter in despair.
Knowing that you're somewhere else, not here with me,
Makes me feel so alone, why cant you see.
You're getting on with your life,
And so am I too.
But still no card or present,
What am I meant to do.
I know you want me out of your life,
Which hasn't changed a lot.
I suppose I will grow up on my own,
Not knowing you at all.
But that's your loss,
You lost a daughter because of it all.

The poem itself is beautiful, even though the message is incredibly sad. Your profile says you never wrote poems before really, but you look like you've been writing for years. Good job.
