Gothic Romance

by Satan   Jan 10, 2006

The day was almost gone
and still he didn't call.
She went to bed finally
with a heavy heart, and tears in her eyes.
She went to go and call
for she could not sleep.
Another voice came on the phone
it was another's, a girls.
She hung up the phone.
She sat and cried.
He called her back.
She didn't want to talk
She walked around her house
She tried calling her sister, they talked.
When she finally hung up, she made up her mind.
Tonight, her life she would take.
She called him back to say good-bye
and hung up on him.
She took the ring off he gave her
She grabbed the knife, that would end her life.
She wrote a note to explain it all.
She explained the call
She explained her decision.
She's now in the ground
She's dead and gone.
They put the ring back on her finger
And buried him next to her.
