What happened

All the laughs,
all the cries,
all the days we spent
swearing it would never end.

all the memories,
good and bad,
gone, like yesterday
why?

i'm still not sure
the answer may never be known
"we went our separate ways"
is what we said.
but is that really what happened?

in the near past
everything was fine
then so soon
you went away.
