Death has taken you, good-bye

I dont cry because I miss you

But because of lost memories

You are gone for good and life has passed

There you lie for eternal rest

You were everything to everyone

Even though I never said hello, not even one good-bye

You are gone forever now and I still cry

Dont look in to my eyes and see my darkened soul

Look in my heart, there is a black gaping hole

You have a great son; my father named after you but goes by Fritz

He would do anything for any of us you raised him very well

I can honestly tell you he would make you proud

The family trade is still up and running

I hear the memories you two had that are pure gold

I only think if you met me.
