I Solemnly Swear

by Felicia   Jan 12, 2006

Today I do solemnly swear,
To free you from that fateful chair.
To show you the clear blues up high,
Your time underground has made you blind.
Fight for things all just and fair,
Do that today, I solemnly swear.

Tonight I do solemnly swear,
To shout out loud and rip my hair.
To do deeds no one else has done,
Change from what I've slowly become.
I will get my equal share,
Do that tonight, I solemnly swear.

Tomorrow I do solemnly swear,
To save the people who do not care.
To the powers' their minds have succumb,
Rendered useless and declared numb.
Find individuals amongst this despair,
Tomorrow, I do solemnly swear.
