Untrue Beauty

by Ashelin   Jan 13, 2006

A shimmering of dew drops
Like a halo upon her head
A true beauty to the world
But her goodness inside, is all dead

She has the body of an angel
Her looks, pure and innocent to behold
But her thoughts and actions are wicked
Like the benevolent witches of old

To you, she may seem kind and sweet
Laughing with her friends close
Her smile charming, to those she deems
But there's something dark about this rose

She lies and cheats behind your back
Spreading rumors in hopes of hurting
She is a terrible malicious creature
If she has a soul, it is burning

Do not trust this wicked angel
For if given the chance, she'll hurt you
She'll charm you with her perfect looks
Then she'll hurt you and be untrue.
