The Boyfriend

Joanna found someone she loved but started to hate.
Even though she was bored with him they continued to date.

This man was Dex, he didnt know he was just a pawn.
Joanna didnt care about him... Until he passed on.

The promontory was the fateful place.
Joanna would never forget his scared frightened face.

He started jumping up and down on the cliff, his soon to be grave.
Joanna thought, He is so stupid, how can he be so naive?

The whole thing started out as a joke that wasnt even amusing.
She heard his cries role down the hill, no not cries he was screaming.

Joanna was shocked and decided to run.
A light hearted, midnight car ride didnt turn out to be too much fun.

Lights, horns all kinds of noises then a bash.
The car was totaled, Joanna had been in a crash.

Suddenly she woke up in a room painted white.
At first her mind was blank but then it went to that fateful night.

Her mother, holding her shaking in delight.
But the only reason Joanna was trembling was because of her fright.

Ring Ring Ring the phone rang obnoxiously.
She picked up the phone, she picked it up cautiously.

I am coming Joanna, I am coming to kill you!
The voice was familiar like one she was used to.

It was Dex, but how, she was there when he died.
She just put down the phone, thought it was a trick, and sighed.

Two weeks later she got to leave that medical jail.
She was watching TV and the heard a mans wail.

There were three hard thumps on the door until it bashed open.
Please dont be Dex.. this is what she was hopin.

Dex had a knife in his hand and fire in his eye.
He said, Joanna Im sorry, but its your turn to die.

No No No please DONT!
Dont kill me Dex, you cant you won't!

Closer and closer and closer he got.
Joanna thought, Its just a gag, just a silly old plot.

But with one single swish from a knife in a hand of decay.
Joannas head rolled off to the floor and there it lay...
