Allowed to Dream

by SmallSurprise   Jan 15, 2006

What would life be without you?
I look at you and hide the truth.

My feelings burried deep inside
My emotions feel like a sickening ride

Your eyes, your hair, your hands, your smile
I've been lookig at you for quite a while

Speaking to you is a granted wish
Too bad my mouth works like that of a fish

I walk by you in the hall
I send out silent words, can you hear me call?

I want to let this hammering heart rest
But if I do, can I still pass the test?

You like her, but I like you
What are these feelings, I think they're new

I blink my eyes, and my mind becomes clear
But when I see you, it's like a drank five cases of beer

I want to be there in your arms
I can't resist you, or your natural charms

Secret it is, and always will be
But, hey! a girl's allowed to dream
