It's what God intended

by David McIntosh   Jan 16, 2006

An eagle flies over the highest mountains looking down into the lowest valleys

We admire this eagle for its grace and it's beauty as it soars

This very same eagle will eventually scream down into that valley and snatch a rabbit to bring back to its children

This of course is all OK because it is the way god had intended.

Knowing this we accept it and don't bother with it, We may feel bad for the rabbit but other than that we don't think about it again

Then why I ask you? Why cant I be with her right now? We are soul mates and We are what god intended us to be. We have waited 18 years. We have waited long enough.

This is so very powerful and expressed so uniquely.I love the images and what you are saying.I can relate so deeply to this, having waited for 15 years for someone, alas mine did not turn out, I hope you fare better. This is written so well, the angst, the impatience, the love, the waiting- it works on so many levels.Excellent piece.
