Up above the world

Another life down the drain,
not knowing all the pain.
the pain that broke her heart,
shattered the heart with the dart.
the dart that caused her pain,
was the same one that she used to cut her vein.
sadly, her life began to drift away,
far far out, lost in the ocean she was.
she didn't know that one boy could cause all the pain,
the pain she felt all up until that day,
when she took her own life away.
nobody could believe it,
she was only 13.
one day, everyone showed up wearing all black,
just to see her body one last time,
one last time before she went 6 feet under.
the boy was there,
he changed his mind,
he did care.
it was all to late,
now his life he would hate.
he felt so lost,
and promised to never love again.
he wanted to be with her so bad,
he had taken her life,
and now he was so sad.
the day finally came,
that he was full of shame.
he didn't know what to do,
until he started seeing two.
one drink is all he took,
thought it would change everything.
one life that felt dead,
was the one in his head.
he went outside,
and lost his mind.
it only took one shot
then he was dead.
he could finally get his wish.
but when he got to heaven,
she had moved on,
and found another.
now their life,
they couldn't share together.
