The Unknown

I am afraid of not knowing my future
Of not knowing whats next to come
In a world that is full of wonder
Or where tomorrow might never come

I am afraid of feeling the pain
That so many feel as they die
Of losing some one I love again
To this cruel world that seems so kind

I am afraid of darkness
Where my inner demons lurk and hide
Waiting for the moment to pull me under
And drag me to their side

I am afraid I wont have time
To make all my dreams come true
Or to live my life to the fullest
So that when my time is up
My soul can be set free
