Peaceful Moment

Sitting out on the porch
Is where I love to be
Swinging and relaxing
A peaceful moment for me.

The breeze slightly blowing
Wind chimes... music to my ears
Inhaling the cool fresh air
Nature's sounds I hear.

Morning dew drips from a rose petal
Birds sing their songs
Fall's around the corner
It won't be long.

The beauty of the scenery
As I glance all around
Patio decorated with flowers
Fragrance just profound.

We need these moments
That's sometimes hard to find
Just to gather our thoughts
And to slowly unwind.

Such a beautiful sight and sound
To the heart of the beholder
What a true blessing of nature
That makes life Golden...

Now as the sun begins to set
I thank God once more
For giving me another day
To appreciate and live life
In such a peaceful way.
