Her Diary

by Person   Jan 18, 2006

He stands there alone reading what was once hers,
He knows how she hurt him,
He reads each page with care,
He knows that he will never have her again,
He knows he has lost her for the final time,
His tears drop onto the page as he reads the final line,
He slams the book closed and throws it into a corner,
He wipes his eyes dry and leaves her room,
He walks out leaving never to return,
He thinks of how she tried to apologize,
He feels an overwhelming amount of guilt,
He tells himself there was nothing he could do,
He convinces himself that she was weak and incompetent,
He arrives at home at last,
He drifts into sleep on his living room couch,
He dreams of how she use to care and try not to mess up,
But he quickly dreams of himself showing and sees her mistake,
He becomes infuriated with her and strikes her down,
He slashes her wrists and watches her bleed not allowing for her to fix herself up,
He quickly awakens and shakes his head knowing he could do nothing to stop her,
He sits there wishing he could have stopped her,
He wishes he could have seen her diary before she did what she had done,
But he knows that now it's to late and she is gone forever.

Okay, could I get some opinions from people who aren't going to think that I'm full of emo bull**** or that I'm not worth the time of day.
