No Belief

by Sean Brady   Jan 19, 2006

Every breath that I take
Is nothing but a big mistake
All the bible huggers
And all the spiritual believers
They make no sense to me
They look like they don't know who they want to be
They scream out to their savior
They believe in the all powerful liberator

God is the worst invention
Offering nothing but redemption
Who has that power
Who has that right
Only we do
Only we have the will to fight!

You're going to die no matter what
Eventually your eyes will shut
Who wants to die old and decaying
Salvation is overrated and dismaying
Why look up to someone else
When no one is looking up to you
Why believe in something
That doesn't believe in you

God is the worst invention
Offering nothing but redemption
Who has that power
Who has that right
Only we do
Only we have the will to fight!

Is it harmless and innocent?
Or is it pure malevolent
Don't believe in what others call right
Don't agree with what others call righteous
You have to bend the rules eventually
You have to separate the black and white with gray
You have to believe in the truth
You have to believe there is nothing to believe in.
