Daddy's been a bad boy
daddy's gone to jail
mummy tried to tell him
but daddy didn't bail

i saw the whole thing happen
daddy thinks I'm dumb
i was watching in the corner
mummy tried to run

mummy tried her best
but didn't get away
mummy had her bags
all packed up outer the way

daddy found mummy
hiding with her bags
daddy picked her up
and threw her on the bed

daddy slapped mummy
mummy started to cry
i really wanted to help mummy
mummy didn't want to die

i went and got a stick
i hit daddy on the head
i looked at mummy and said
does daddy want to dead

then daddy got up
and said go to bed
i tried to stop daddy
i smashed him in the head

then daddy hit me
and i began to cry
i yelled at him to stop
but he didn't listen

then i rang for help
at the age of four
and a man in blue came in
and took my daddy away
