Not So Young

by Hannah   Jan 20, 2006

The clock is ticking
Another year has come and gone
The clock is ticking and I can't imagine what else could go wrong

I just want to see you face but
like they say "life's a race"
It has it's beginning's and has it's ends when you have to say goodbye to very dear friends

Some say it's "normal"
But not so young
Some say it's "normal"
In that category-you don't belong

You were one of a kind
So special and sweet
One of a kinda
Certainly unique

You kept me laughing
Through good and bad
Life with you
Could never be sad

You always wore a smile
Which unfortunately I haven't seen in quiet a while

I miss you friend and I'm beginning to wonder
when MY race is going to end
