Say nothings wrong, put on a smile, hide your tears, your in denial. no-one can see behind your eyes they do not know your telling lies. They ask you whats wrong, you say nothing at all you go home at night, and begin to bawl. you sit and think, eyes running dry, you say you no longer, want to cry. So you decide to grab, a knife you see, you think it is, some sort of key. A special key, just for you, you didn't know, what Else to do. You push down hard, right on your wrist, no one thought, it could end like this. All because of, a broken heart, that is what, made her start. She sat there looking, at her bloody arm, she never thought, it would resort to self harm It became a habit, every night, she would go to her room, out of sight. Shed a few tears, then grab a knife, she never thought, this could end her life. She pushes a little harder, each and every time, not knowing, she'd be committing her own crime. Tonight is when, she takes it too far, this cut, wont only leave a scar. She blacks out, and drops to the floor, and then her mother, opens the door. To see her daughter, lying dead, so much guilt, was upon her head. But that's what happens, when no-one seems to care, peoples hearts, begin to tear. This is one of my best poems. If you take it then please don't say that you wrote it. i appreciate it xxx
