Why does it have to be so hard?

Why does life have to be hard?
Why does it have the pain?
Why cant it be normal?
Why cant it be perfect?

I cant wait for the time
Where I leave this life
The life I live now
The life I have in fear

The life will be better
Filled with fun and laughter
Joy and smiles
No pain or fear

This is the life I wish for
The life I need
But that life will never be
This life is the only one for me

When I think of my life
The tears make me laugh
But the laughs make me cry
But that’s this life I have

As I sit here
Spilling my feelings
A memory goes through my mind
Of my life I wish I had back

And now its gone
I wished my life away
All I want is to be happy
To find someone to love me

My life was killed
By the look they gave me
The look I got from you
And now all I want to do is die

Life is a great thing
Meant to be enjoyed
