We used to be best friends but something happened quickly which caused our friendship to end
I remember those summer nights we used to spend on the roof top looking over the sound just talking about life and everything around
I remember the campfires us and your brother made
and all the dumb things we did everyday
I would walk from my house to yours
rain or shine
we would cuddle on the stares and...well
those days are gone and I can say I'm sad but you weren't anything compared to what I now have
I have started a new story to tell and It won't start with
"I remember when" but I can tell you for sure this story won't have an end.
So lost love of mine
I don't know what has happened
but I can say today for sure that
I will be okay
