Bad Timing

I'm torn between feelings
or happy and sad
you loved her so much
you were so happy
then she tore your heart in two
you are beyond sad

although it hurt
to see her with you
it also made me happy
to see that smile on your face

we couldn't be together
because you were with her
now she is out of the picture
just as he stepped in

I'm beginning to wonder
if we aren't meant to be
at this time and place
